RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT TO NUNN ELECTRIC
COMPANY FOR INSTALLATION OF BALLFIELD LIGHTING
AT SPUDDER PARK.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised
for bids for the installation of ballfield lighting at Spudder
Park; and,
WHEREAS , two bids were received, and it is found
that Nunn Electric Company, whose bid of $16 ,828 . 80, including
their bid on Alternative No. 1, is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said total bid, including Alternative No. 1 as
accepted, of Nunn Electric, in the amount $16,828 . 80 is
hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute
for the City of Wichita Falls a contract with Nunn Electric,
for the installation of such ballfield lights at Spudder Park
plus the installation of eight additional fixtures and poles
as shown on Alternative No. 1.
