RESOLUTION AWARDING, AND AUTHORIZING CITY
MANAGER TO SIGN, CONTRACT FOR IRRIGATION
SYSTEMS IN BELAIR PARK AND WOOD MEMORIAL
PARK TO HOLT LANDSCAPE & NURSERY.
WHEREAS, the City has advertised for bids for the
construction of irrigation systems at Belair and Wood
Memorial Parks; and,
WHEREAS, five bids were received, and the bid of
Holt Landscape & Nursery in the amount of $23,607 .23 is the
lowest responsible bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of Holt Landscape & Nursery in the amount
of $23,607 .23 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute a contract with Holt Landscape &
Nursery for the construction of such improvements.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1st day of September, 1981 .
