RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2
TO CONTRACT WITH SCALES CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION
CO. , INC. , FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CREATIVE PLAY
AREA AT WOOD MEMORIAL PARK.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Scales Concrete
Construction Co. , Inc. , as contractor, entered into a contract
dated June 9 , 1981 , for the construction of creative play
area at Wood Memorial Park; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen has determined that it is
advisable to change such contract by adding additional concrete
work which will provide twenty feet of wall extension and
320 square feet of walkway, which will increase the contract
price by $1,156 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
Change Order No. 2 to the contract dated June 9, 1981,
with Scales Concrete Construction Co. , Inc. , enbodying the
above changes, which will increase the contract price by
1,156, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorized
to execute the same for the City of Wichita Falls.
