RESOLTUION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR PROVIDING TWO
NEW DIESEL POWERED TRANSIT COACHES TO TRANSPORT-
ATION MANUFACTURING CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita. Falls has advertised for bids to provide two new
diesel powered transit coaches; and
WHEREAS, two bids were received and the bid by Transportation Manufacturing
Corporation in the amount of $92,997.49 each, a total of $185,994.98, was the
lowest responsible bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such bid by the Transportation Manufacturing Corporation is hereby accepted
and the City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with the Transportation
Manufacturing Corporation for purchase of two new diesel power transit coaches per
specifications.
