RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT TO A-1 DISCOUNT
FENCE CO. FOR CONSTRUCTION OF FENCING OF TWO
BALLFIELDS AT JAYCEE PARK.
WHEREAS , the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for the construction of fencing of two ballfields at Jaycee
Park; and,
WHEREAS, two bids were received, and it is found that A-1
Discount Fence Co. , who bid $13, 996. 94 , is the lowest responsible
bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
Said bid of A-1 Discount Fence Co. in the amount of $13, 996. 94
is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute
for the City of Wichita Falls a contract with A-1 Discount Fence
Co. for the construction of such improvements.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 19th day of May, 1981.
