RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION OF SEVEN
SHELTERS IN BELAIR, SPUDDER AND WILLIAMS
PARKS .
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Emerson Construction
Co. , Inc . entered into a contract dated September 23 , 1980 ,
wherein the contractor agreed to construct seven shelters in
Belair, Spudder, and Williams Parks ; and ,
WHEREAS , the total contract price to be paid by the City in
such contract was $30, 000. 00 , of which $25 , 000. 00 has been paid
to the contractor, leaving a balance due of $5 , 000. 00; and,
WHEREAS , the construction of such shelters has been completed
in accordance with the plans and specifications .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT :
The construction of such seven shelters is accepted by the
City of Wichita Falls , and the City Manager is directed to pay
to said contractor the amount due on such contract .
