RESOLUTION APPROVING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR ON THE LINCOLN
HEIGHTS DRAINAGE PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the contractor has completed work on the Lincoln
Heights Drainage Project in accordance with the plans and specifications;
and,
WHEREAS, the contract for such work was based on unit prices
for estimated quantities; on this basis, it was originally estimated that
the total cost of the contract would be $206,835.70; and,
WHEREAS, the actual quantities used in the project was less
than the quantities which were originally estimated; therefore, the
total amount of the contract based on the unit prices applied to the actual
quantities is $1 78,136.06.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, THAT;
Such project is hereby accepted by the City of Wichita Falls.
The total amount due such contractor on the Lincoln Heights Drainage
Project is $19,137.24, and the City Manager is authorized to make final
payment to such contractor based on this at.
