RESOLUTION SUBMITTING INITIATIVE PETITIONERS '
RESOLUTION CONCERNING LOCATION OF SOLID WASTE
TRANSFER STATION, TO A VOTE OF THE ELECTORS
ON JANUARY 16, 1982 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
That the initiative petitioners ' resolution, selecting the
abandoned Ready-Mix concrete plant on the north side of the
Seymour Highway as the site for the solid waste transfer station,
shall be submitted to the electors at the election on January
16, 1982 . The official ballots for said election shall be
prepared so as to permit the electors to vote "FOR" or
AGAINST" the proposition which shall be stated as follows:
A resolution selecting Site A, the abandoned Ready-Mix
concrete plant on the north side of Seymour Highway between
Tanglewood Drive and Rogers Street, as the site for the solid
waste transfer station. "
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 17th day of November, 1981.
