RESOLUTION CALLING ELECTION ON THE QUESTION
OF REPEAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 2656 , WHICH
SELECTED THE BURLINGTON-CALL FIELD INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT LOCATION AS THE SITE FOR THE SOLID
WASTE TRANSFER STATION.
WHEREAS, a Referendum Petition requested that the Board
of Aldermen repeal Resolution No. 2656 , which selected the
Burlington-Call Field Industrial District location as the
site for the solid waste transfer station; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen reconsidered such resolution,
and voted not to repeal it.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
A special election shall be held in the City of Wichita Falls
on Saturday, January 16, 1982 , at which election Resolution
No. 2656 shall be submitted to the electors.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 3rd day of November, 1981,
by the affirmative votes of at least six members of the Board
of Aldermen.
