RESOLUTION APPROVING THE WHITE STORE BUILDING
PROJECT OF MATHIS, WEST & HUFFINES & COMPANY
AN ACCEPTABLE COMMERCIAL PROJECT WITHIN THE
ELIGIBLE BLIGHTED AREA
WHEREAS , the White Store Building Project will contribute
significantly to redevelopment objectives in the eligible
blighted area, as defined by the Wichita Falls Board of Aldermen,
and is in furtherance of public purposes, as defined by the
Development Corporation Act of 1979, as amended; and,
WHEREAS, the White Store Building Project will contribute
to the economic growth of Wichita Falls by increasing employment
opportunities, increasing the tax base and promoting commerce
with the City; and,
WHEREAS, the White Store Project Building is an acceptable
commercial project of the professional office type.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City of Wichita Falls approves the White Store Building
Project as an acceptable commercial project within the eligible
blighted area.
