RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT TO JOHN J. MILLER,
D/B/A J. MILLER CONSTRUCTION CO. FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF RESTROOM AND STORAGE FACILITY IN WOOD MEMORIAL
PARK.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for the construction of a restroom and storage facility in
Wood Memorial Park; and,
WHEREAS, seven bids were received, and it is found that
John J. Miller, d/b/a J. Miller Construction Co. , who made a
base bid of $23 , 904 , is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said bid of John J. Miller, d/b/a J. Miller Construction
Co. , in the amount of $23 , 904 is hereby accepted, and the
City Manager is authorized to execute for the City of
Wichita Falls a contract with such contractor for the
construction of such improvements.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 3rd day of November, 1981.
