RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT
FOR INSTALLATION OF BALLFIELD LIGHTING AT
SPUDDER PARK.
WHEREAS, the City has advertised for bids for installation
of ballfield lighting at Spudder Park; and,
WHEREAS, three bids were received, and Browning Electric,
Inc. , who bid $8 , 512 , which includes Alternate No. 1 for
installation of eight additional lighting fixtures, is the
lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of Browning Electric, Inc. in the total amount
of $8 ,512 , which includes Alternate No. 1, is hereby accepted,
and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract with
Browning Electric, Inc. , for the installation of such ballfield
lighting.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 6th day of October, 1981.
