ORDINANCE PERMITTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF
A BUILDING OVER THE UTILITY EASEMENT LO-
CATED IN THE ABANDONED ALLEY IN BLOCK 226
OF THE ORIGINAL TOWN OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the alley in Block 226 of the Original Town
of Wichita Falls was closed, vacated and abandoned as a
public way by Ordinance No. 2324 on April 24, 1967, reserv-
ing a utility easement; and,
WHEREAS, Wichita Coca Cola Bottling Company has re-
quested permission to construct a building over said utility
easement, and has agreed to have the electric and telephone
lines relocated from said utility easement and to provide
a twenty-foot by fourteen-foot door at each end of the pro-
posed building; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Board has recommended that the
existing sewer line in such utility easement be encased in
concrete prior to the building of such structure.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Permission is hereby granted to Wichita Coca Cola Bottl-
ing Company to construct a building over the utility easement
located in the abandoned alley in Block 226 of the Original
Town, provided that before construction all utilities are
relocated except the sanitary sewer line, and provided that
the sanitary sewer line be either encased in concrete or re-
located, as directed by the Director of Public Utilities of the
City of Wichita Falls.
