ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3018
TO PROHIBIT POSSESSION OF ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES IN CERTAIN PARKS IN THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3018 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"The possession of alcoholic beverages, and the consump-
tion of alcoholic beverages, in any ornamental park in the
City of Wichita Falls and in all public street rights-of-way
abutting any such park is prohibited. "
SECTION 2. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 3018 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"The possession of alcoholic beverages, and the consump-
tion of alcoholic beverages, is also prohibited in Bridwell
Park, Scotland Park, Martin Plaza, and Hamilton Park, which
parks are hereby recognized and designated as principally used
and useful by family groups, and in all public street rights-
of-way abutting such parks. "
