ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 29-147 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES, TO ELIMINATE THE EN-
FORCEMENT OF PARKING METERS ON SATURDAY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Paragraph (a) of Section 29-147 of the Code of Ordi-
nances is hereby amended to read as follows:
" (a) Parking meter zones are hereby established within
the District or upon those streets or parts of streets as
designated in Section 29-148 in which zones the parking of
vehicles upon streets shall be regulated by parking meters
between the hours specified by appropriate signs, except
Saturdays and Sundays and the public holidays enumerated in
Section 29-2. "
