ORDINANCE NO. clK/ Z/
ORDINANCE ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS OF THE 1975
LEAVE OUT SECTIONS ASSESSMENT PAVING PROGRAM
IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, AS DES-
IGNATED IN ORDINANCE NO. 2971; DECLARING THE
CONTRACT WITH CITY CONCRETE INC. , WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAID IMPROVE-
MENTS FULLY COMPLETED AND PERFORMED; DIRECTING
THE ISSUANCE, EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF CERTI-
FICATES IN EVIDENCE OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS LEVIED
AFTER GIVING EFFECT TO SUNDRY CREDITS HEREIN
AUTHORIZED AND ALLOWED AGAINST SOME OF SAID ASSESS-
MENTS ; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ENGROSS AND EN-
ROLL THIS ORDINANCE BY COPYING THE CAPTION OF SAME
IN THE MINUTE BOOK OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS AND BY FILING THE COM-
PLETE ORDINANCE IN APPROPRIATE ORDINANCE RECORDS OF
SAID CITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, Texas has heretofore entered
into contract with City Concrete Inc. , Wichita Falls, Texas for the making
and constructing of certain street improvements on the hereinafter describ-
ed portions of streets, avenues and public places in the City to-wit:
Lot 2, Block 10, Sunset Heights Addition
Lot 15, Block 99A, Highland Addition
Lot 10, Block 17, Scotland Addition
Lot 17, Block 16, Scotland Addition
Lot 15, Block 15, Scotland Addition
Lot 11, Block 108, Floral Heights Addition
Lot 15, Block 108, Floral Heights Addition
Lot 4, Block 104, Floral Heights Addition
Lot 16, Block 19A, Highland Addition
Lots 3,4,&5, Block 89, Original Town
Lot 24, Block 26, Scotland Addition
Lot 14 & 15, Block 26, Scotland Addition
Lot 3, Block 113, Original Town
Lot 24, Block 9, Scotland Addition
Lot 1, Block 10, Scotland Addition
Lot 1, Block 1, Kemp & Jackson Subdivision

• WHEREAS , by sundry proceedings heretofore passed by the Board
of Aldermen o
f h
t e City of Wichita Falls, Texas, including Ordinance No.
2986, a portion of the cost of said improvements was levied and assessed
against the respective properties abutting on each of the above assessed
portions of streets , avenues and public places and against the real and
'true owners thereof; and, •
•
• WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas ,
has upon review, found and determined that , in some instances in order to
.effect substantial justice and equality, 'it is desireable and necessary to
grant and issue certain credits against some one or more of the assessments
levied by Ordinance No. 2986,. and,
WHEREAS , the street improvements hereinabove mentioned have been
completed upon each of the portions of streets, avenues and public places
hereinabove described , and have been inspected and found to be in complete
accordance with the contract therefor:
NOW, .THEREFORE , •

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
I.
The improvements on each of the portions of streets , avenues and
public places hereinabove described be , and they are hereby accepted ; and
the contract with reference thereto be, and is hereby found and declared
fully completed and performed.
II.
The assessments as levied by Ordinance No. 2986 shall be computed
for each property owner and the same together with the Engineer' s Rolls of
the twenty :six :(26) locations herein accepted shall be deliver-
.
ed to the Tax-Assessor-Collector, and he shall prepare statements which shall
be sent to the property owners.

III.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to engross and enroll this Ordi-
nance by copying the caption of same in the Minute Book of the Board of Alder-
men of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and by filing the completed ordinance
in the appropriate Ordinance Records of said City.
IV.

This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage.
