AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH (c) OF SECTION 29-114
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, ESTABLISHING NO PARKING ZONES ON CERTAIN STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Paragraph (c) of Section 29-114 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Wichita Falls is hereby amended by adding to the schedule in such section the following:

SECTION 2. The fact that many people live within the City of Wichita Falls and that
there is an urgent need for protection of its citizens and their property upon the city's
• roads and streets, this ordinance is declared an emergency measure on the grounds of
urgent public need for the preservation of the peace, health, and safety of the lives and
property of the citizens of the city. This ordinance shall, therefore, take effect immed-
iately upon its passage.
