Ord 3063 2/17/1976 ORDINANCE NO. 1O6, ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING SALE OF BEER AT THE WICHITA FALLS MUSEUM & ART CENTER DURING THE ANNUAL SPRING FLING. WHEREAS, each year the Wichita Falls Museum & Art Center sponsors an arts and crafts fund raising project known as the Spring Fling, and the Museum Guild has requested permission to sell beer through their food services during Spring Fling; and, WHEREAS , the success of the Spring Fling will be enhanced if the sale of beer is allowed, and the Board of Aldermen finds that it will be in the public interest if such sale is allowed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: Notwithstanding the other provisions contained in Ordinance No. 2491, it shall be lawful for the Wichita Falls Museum and Arts Center to obtain a Temporary License under the Texas Liquor Control Act, which shall authorize the holder thereof to sell beer only for consumption on the premises constituting the Wichita Falls Museum & Art Center building and grounds only, in or from any lawful container to the ultimate consumer, which Temporary License shall be good only during the annual Spring Fling.
