AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR THE
ORDERING AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF
PORTIONS OF AVENUES, STREETS AND PUBLIC PLACES
IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, DESIGNATED
AS THE 1976 RECONSTRUCTION PAVING PROGRAM, APPROV-
ING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS PREPARED BY PITY
ENGINEER AND DIRECTING THE ADVERTISING FOR BIDS
AND PROVIDING SUNDRY OTHER MATTERS INCIDENT THERE-
TO.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
is of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues, streets
and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be improved;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT: .
I.
It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following
portions of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas be improved, to-wit:
HIRSCHI LANE: From the north property line of Iowa Park
Road to the south property line of Borton St.
HUSKIE From the east property line of Hirschi Lane
DRIVE: to the west property line of Ridgeway Drive.
INDUSTRIAL From the west property line of North Beverly
DRIVE: Drive to the east property line of E. Loop 11
Service Road.
LAWRENCE From the south property line of Kell Boulevard
ROAD: to 490 feet north of the north property line
of Call Field Road.
30th STREET: From the east property line of Armory Road to
the east property line of California Avenue.
31st STREET: From the east property line of Jacksboro Hwy.
to the west property line of Armory Road.
33rd STREET: From the east property line of Jacksboro Hwy.
to the west property line of Armory Road.
II.
The City Engineer has heretofore prepared plans and specifications
for the improvement of the hereinabove described portions of avenues, streets
and public places, and such plans and specifications are submitted to the Board
of Aldermen for approval and adoption; such plans and specifications be and the
same are hereby approved and adopted as the plans and specifications for the
improvement of the said streets.
III.
The City Manager is hereby directed to advertise for competitive
bids for the making and constructing of said improvements.
IV.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect immediately
from and after its passage.

Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, has ordered and determined it to be necessary that
the following streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas
be improved and that a portion of the cost of such improvment is to be
specially assessed as a lien upon the property abutting thereon, and said
portions of streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas as follows:
. HIRSCHI LANE: From the north property line of Iowa Park
Road to the south property line of Borton St.
HUSKIE From the east property line of Hirschi Lane
DRIVE: to the west property line of Ridgeway Drive.
INDUSTRIAL From the west property line of North Beverly
DRIVE: Drive to the east property line of E. Loop
