AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR THE
ORDERING AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF
PORTIONS OF AVENUES, STREETS AND PUBLIC PLACES
IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, DESIGNATED
AS THE 1976 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ASSESSMENT PAV-
ING PROGRAM, APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
PREPARED BY THE CITY ENGINEER, AND DIRECTING THE
ADVERTISING FOR BIDS, AND PROVIDING SUNDRY OTHER
MATTERS INCIDENT THERETO.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
is of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues, streets
and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be improved;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE 'IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:
I.
It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following por-
tions of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
be improved, to-wit:
AVENUE D: From the east property line of Hayes
Street to 150 feet east.
BRIDGE From the north property line of Washington
STREET: St. to the south property line of Jefferson St.
BUCHANAN From the north ro ert line of Tenth St. to

STREET: to 297.3 feet south

AVENUE: to the north property line of Kell Boulevard.
CAROLINE From the east property line of North Travis St.
STREET: to the west -property line-of North Lamar St.
CLARK From the north property line of Lucille Ave.
STREET: to 220' north of north property line of
Elizabeth Avenue.
EDWARDS From the north property line of East Scott St.
STREET: to the south property line of Fort Worth Street.
FORT WORTH From the east property line of Kentucky Ave. to
STREET: the west property line of Edwards Avenue.
FOURTH From the east property line of Lee Street to

STREET: to 425 feet west.
WASHINGTON From the east property line of Burk Road to
STREET: the west property line of Eastside Drive.
WEBSTER From the north property line of East
STREET: Caroline Street to the south property line
of East Jefferson Street.
II.
The City Engineer has heretofore prepared plans and specifications
for the improvement of the hereinabove described portions of avenues, streets,
and public places, and such plans and specifications are submitted to the Board
of Aldermen for approval and adoption; such plans and specifications be and the
same are hereby approved and adopted as the plans and specifications for the
improvement of the said streets.
III.
The City Manager is hereby directed to advertise for competitive bids
for the making and constructing of said improvements.
IV.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect immedi-
ately from and after its passage.

Wichita Falls, Texas, has ordered and determined it to be necessary that
the following streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas
be improved and that a portion of the cost of such improvements is to be
specially assessed as a lien upon the property abutting thereon, and said
portions of streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas as follows:
