ORDINANCE CHANGING THE DATE OF THE FIRST MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN IN NOVEMBER, 1976.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2-1 of
the Code of Ordinances, the date of the first regular
meeting of the Board of Aldermen in November, 1976 is
hereby changed from November 2nd to November 4th.
The fact that November 2nd, 1976 is election day,
and it is deemed in the best public interest to hold
the meeting of the Board of Aldermen on some day other
than election day, creates an emergency, and this or-
dinance is declared to be an emergency measure which
shall become effective immediately.

1976.
