RESOLUTION NO. 71-2014
Resolution awarding a bid for the purchase of an Artificial Turf
System for the Kay Yeager Coliseum to Sporturf Midwest, LLC, in the
amount of $92,000
WHEREAS, the budget of the 4B Sales Tax Corporation includes $95,000 to
purchase an artificial turf system for the Kay Yeager Coliseum;
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of an artificial turf system;
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on May 22, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase an artificial turf system for the
Kay Yeager Coliseum.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of an artificial turf
system to Sporturf Midwest, LLC, in the amount of $92,000.00, and City staff is
authorized to execute all documents necessary to effectuate said purchase.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 1st day of July, 2014.
