AN ORDINANCE CLOSING NIP ABANDONING A PORTION OF KINGS
HIGHWAY AND PORTIONS OF CERTAIN ALLEYS IP! THE SUNSET
HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close a portion of Kings
Highway and portions of certain alleys in the Sunset Heights Addition herein-
after described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Portions of streets and alleys lying within the Sunset
Heights Addition to the City of Wichita Falls being described as follows :
The 15 foot alley adjacent to the north property lines of
Lots 11 through 20, Block 3; the 20 foot alley adjacent to
the east property line of Lot 20, Block 3; the 20 foot
alley adjacent to the east property line of Lot 1 , Block 4,
and
Kings Highway from a point 150 feet east of the east right-
of-way line of Polk Street eastward to the west property
line of Sunset Drive,
be and the same are hereby closed and abandoned.
SECTION 2. The City of Wichita Falls, Texas reserves unto itself an
easement for sewer lines in the above described portions of streets and alleys.
