Ord 3141 11/4/1976 ORDINANCE NO. j/0 • AN ORDINANCE WAIVING RESTRICTIONS ON REAR ALLEY ACCESS AND FOR REDUCTION IN STREET WIDTHS IN PARTS OF THE PROPOSED ROLLING HILLS ESTATES SUBDIVISION WHEREAS, the owner of the proposed Rolling Hills Estates subdivision, as shown on the preliminary plat submitted to the Planning Board on September 8, 1976, has requested that restrictions on main rear alley access and minimum street widths in parts of said proposed subdivision be waived; and WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas has recommended to the Board of Aldermen that the said waiver be granted under certain conditions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1 . Section 9, B, (12)(c) of Ordinance 2118 requiring a minimum paving width of 30 feet and Section 9, C, (5) of Ordinance 2118 requiring main driveway entrances to open on a street are hereby waived for that portion of the Rolling Hills Estates subdivision, which is bounded on the north by Athletic Road, on the east by Barnett Road, on the south by the south line of the subdivision, and on the west by a line parallel to and 750 feet west of the center line of Barnett Road, provided the following conditions are met, to wit: • a. Alleys shall have a right-of-way width of 25 feet and a pavement width of 15 feet. b. Street pavement shall be a linimum of 27 feet in width, except that those streets designated by the Director of Planning shall be a minimum of 30 feet in width. c. Speed bumps and traffic markings shall be provided as designated by the Traffic and Transportation Division. PASSED AND APPROVED THIS /la day of heiz�,1 ) , 1976.
