AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR THE
ORDERING AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF
PORTIONS OF AVENUES, STREETS AND PUBLIC PLACES
IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, DESIGNATED
AS THE 1977 ASSESSMENT PAVING PROGRAM AND A POR-
TION OF THE 1977 RECONSTRUCTION PAVING PROGRAM,
PHASE r, APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
PREPARED BY CITY ENGINEER AND DIRECTING THE ADVER-
TISING FOR BIDS AND PROVIDING SUNDRY OTHER MATTERS
INCIDENT THERETO.
WHEREAS, the board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
is of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues , streets
and public places in the City of Wichita Falls , Texas should be improved:
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE I;T ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:
It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following por-
tions of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls ,
Texas be improved, to-wit:
GRANDVIEW WEST: From the south property line of the
U.S. 287 Expressway to the north
property line of Longview Street.
WRANGLER DRIVE: From the east property line of City
View Drive to 147.6 feet east of the
east property line of Grandview Fast.
LONGVIEW STREET: From the east property line of City
View Drive to the west property line
of Grandview west.
CRESTVIEW: From the east property line of Grand-
view west to the west property line
of Grandview East.
GREENRIDGE: From the east property line of Grand-
view west to the west property line of
Grandview East.
HI.LLSBORO: From the east property line of Grand-
view west to the west property line
of Grandview East.
VIEW PARK: From the east property line of Grand-
view west to the west property line
of Grandview East.
LONGVIEW: From the west property line of Grand-
view west to 145.7 feet east of the
east property line of Grandview east.
EDGEHILL: From the east property line of Grand-
view west to the west property line
of Grandview east.
GRANDVIEW From the south property line of EdgeI-
SOUTH: hill easterly to the south property
line of Edgehill .

GRANDVIEW From the north property line of
WEST: Longview Street to the south
property line of Edgehill .
GRANDVIEW From the south property line of
EAST: U. S. 287 Expressway to the south
property line of Edgehill .
The City Engineer has heretofore prepared plans and specifications
for the improvement of the hereint-bove described portions of avenues , streets ,
and public places , and such plans and specifications are submitted to the Board
of Aldermen for approval and adoption; such plans and specifications be and the
same are hereby approved and adopted as the plans and specifications for the
improvement of the said streets.
III .
The City Manager is hereby directed to advertise for competitive
bids for the making and constructing of said improvements.
IV.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect immediately
from and after its passage.

Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of
Wichita Falls , Texas, has ordered and determined it to be necessary that
the following streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas
be improved and that a portion of the cost of such improvement is to be
specially assessed as a lien upon the property abutting thereon , and said
portions of streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas as follows :
GRANDVIEW From the south property line of the U.S.
WEST: 287 Expressway to the north property
line of Longview Street.
WRANGLER From the east property line of City View
DRIVE: Drive to 147.6 feet east of the east prop-
erty line of Grandview East.
LONGVIEW From the east p r ope r ty line of City View
STREET: Drive to the west property line of Grand-
view West.
CRESTVIEW: From the east property line of Grandview
west to the west property line of Grand-
view East.
