AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-157 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
TO INCLUDE EQUAL HOUSING OPPORTUNITY IN THE JURISDICTION OF THE
HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:
Section 2-157, Paragraph 6 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Wichita Falls is hereby amended to include Paragraph 6a to read as follows:
"(6a) Receive and investigate complaints and initiate investigation
of discrimination in housing opportunity because of race, religion,
sex, marital status or national origin."
