ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING PARKS ON BLOCKS
31 AND 33, FAITH VILLAGE, UNIT I AND IN HILLTOP
ESTATES ADDITION, EFFECTIVE UPON RECEIPT BY THE
CITY OF THE EXPENSES THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, in the municipal election held April 2, 1977 ,
the voters approved the closing and abandoning of the parks
hereinafter described; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita
Falls deem it advisable and in the public interest to close
such parks.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The parks on Blocks3l and 33, Faith Village,
Unit I, and the park located in Hilltop Estates Addition,
are hereby closed and abandoned by the City of Wichita Falls.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective as
to each of such parks at such time as the fee owner of such
land pays to the city the expenses incurred by the city in
submitting such issue to the voters; the amount of such
expenses shall be established by the Board of Aldermen.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 3rd day of May, 1977.
