ORDINANCE CLOSING CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS
IN WESTMORELAND PARK ACREAGE SUBDIVISION.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas deems it advisable and in the public interest
to close the streets and alleys hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The following portions of streets and alleys in the
Westmoreland Park Acreage subdivision be and the same are
hereby closed and abandoned, to-wit:
In Block 17 , Denton County school land, League 1, Wichita
County, Texas , all alleys, and all of Michigan Avenue, Iowa
Avenue, Idaho Avenue, Greensboro Road and Shreveport Road;
all of that part of Wisconsin Avenue lying west of the
36. 096 acre tract owned by the City of Wichita Falls; all
that portion of Alexandria Road lying north of the north
right-of-way line of Kell Boulevard;
In Blocks 16 and 9, Denton County school land, League 1,
Wichita County, Texas, all of those portions of Concord
Road, Greenville Road and Columbia Road lying between the
north right-of-way line of Wisconsin Avenue and the north
right-of-way line of Kell Boulevard.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 7th day of June, 1977.
