AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2826,
TO REDUCE THE APPROPRIATION FOR STREET SURFACE OVERLAY,
AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2761 TO INCREASE THE
APPROPRIATION FOR SURFACE TREATMENT
WHEREAS, in Ordinance No. 2826, the sum of $35,000.00 was appropriated
out of Revenue Sharing Trust Fund for project 93-350, Street Surface Overlay;
by Ordinance No. 2911, the amount so appropriated was increased by $70,000.00
to $105,000.00; by Ordinance No. 3015, the amount was further increased to
$215,000.00; and by Ordinance No. 3090, the amount was further increased to
$182,500.00; and,
WHEREAS, in Ordinance No. 2761, the sum of $50,000.00 was appropriated
out of the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund for project No. 93-352, Surface Treatment;
by Ordinance No. 2826, the amount so appropriated was increased by $35,000.00
to $85,000.00; by Ordinance No. 2911, the amount was further increased to
$115,000.00; and by Ordinance No. 3015, the amount was further increased to
$165,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Ordinance #2826 is hereby amended further by reducing by
$78.16 the amount appropriated out of the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund for
project No. 93-350, Street Surface Overlay. Such sum of $78.16 is hereby
ordered appropriated in Revenue Sharing Trust Fund, for project No. 93-352,
Surface Treatment.
Section 2. The fact that this sum is now due and that it is essential
for the immediate use of the City of Wichita Falls creates an emergency; there-
fore this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage.
