AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING ROBINSON ROAD LYING BETWEEN
BLOCKS 8 AND 13 AND VAUGHN ROAD LYING BETWEEN BLOCKS 3 AND 4 OF
MIDWESTERN PARK, UNIT ONE, A SUBDIVISION OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of Wichita Falls, Texas on July 13, 1977
approved a preliminary plat eliminating the requirements of Robinson Road and
Vaughn Road in Midwestern Park subdivision, and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close those streets herein
described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1. The following streets are hereby closed and abandoned,
the same being Robinson Road north of the right-of-way line of Elmwood Avenue
lying between Blocks 8 and 13 and Vaughn Road north of the right-of-way line
of Elmwood Avenue lying between Blocks 3 and 4, both being in Midwestern Park,
Unit One, a subdivision of Wichita Falls, Texas, as shown on the plat filed
October 9, 1969 with the County Clerk of Wichita County, Texas.
SECTION 2. The City of Wichita Falls, Texas hereby reserves a five
(5) foot utility easement south of and parallel and adjacent to a line from the north-
east corner of Lot I, Block 13 to the northwest corner of Lot 45, Block 8, a ten (10)
foot utility easement west of and parallel and adjacent to the westerly lot line of
Lot 45, Block 8, a five (5) foot utility easement south of and parallel and
adjacent to a line from the northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 4 from which said point the
line extends N 84° 30' E a distance of fifty (50) feet and a ten (10) foot utility
easement west of and parallel and adjacent to the westerly lot line of Lot 40,
Block 3, all said lots and blocks being in Midwestern Park, Unit One.
