AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING THE FIFTEEN (15) FOOT ALLEY BEHIND
LOT 14, BLOCK 17, SIKES ESTATES SUBDIVISION, SECTION F,
TO THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, AND RETAINING EASEMENT
RIGHTS
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
deems it advisable and in the public interest to permanently abandon and release
an alley herein described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The fifteen (15) foot alley situated behind Lot 14, Block
17, Sikes Estates Subdivision, Section F, beginning at the extension of the north-
easterly lot line of said Lot 14, Block 17, extending southwesterly behind Lot 14
to the northeasterly lot line of Lot 1, Block 19, Sikes Estates Subdivision,
Section F, be and the same is hereby permanently abandoned and released.
SECTION 2. There is reserved on this strip an easement for the purpose
of maintaining water and sewer lines, gas lines, telephone conduits and electrical
power lines and other utilities.
SECTION 3. No building shall be built over said easements unless and
until satisfactory arrangements have been made with the Director of Public
Utilities of the City of Wichita Falls with reference to the maintenance and
upkeep of the sewer and water lines and with the other easement owners with
reference to their easements.
