ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3241, WHICH
ADOPTED THE BUDGET AND MADE ANNUAL APPROPRIA-
TIONS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1977-1978, TO REDUCE
APPROPRIATION AND ESTIMATED REVENUES FOR
BUILDING MAINTENANCE AND AUDITORIUM SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is purchasing and
improving an Activities Center, and it is deemed advisable
to create a new fund for the operation of the Memorial Audi-
torium and Activities Center, and to reduce certain expendi-
tures and estimated revenue for Building Maintenance and
Auditorium Services, and place them in a new Auditorium-
Activities Center fund; and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted to the Board
of Aldermen proposed reductions in such accounts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Ordinance No. 3241 is hereby amended to reduce those
certain appropriations and budget estimates of revenues and
expenses by the amounts so proposed by the City Manager:
(1) Revenues:
11-000-3611 $18, 500. 00
(2) Expenses:
11-091-4596 $ 1,325. 00
11-616-various accounts 3,330. 00
11-617-various accounts 25,573. 00
The immediate need to operate the Memorial Auditorium-
Activities Center creates an emergency, and in order to
protect the public health, welfare and to preserve the peace,
this ordinance shall take effect immediately, and it is so
ordained.
