ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3241, WHICH
ADOPTED THE BUDGET AND MADE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1977-1978, TO INCREASE APPRO-
PRIATION AND ESTIMATED REVENUES AND TO ESTABLISH
AUDITORIUM-ACTIVITIES CENTER FUND.
WHEREAS , the City of Wichita Falls is purchasing and
improving an Activities Center, and it is deemed advisable
to create a new fund for the operation of the Memorial Audi-
torium and Activities Center; and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted to the Board of
Aldermen a budget estimate of the revenues and expenses of
conducting the affairs of the Memorial Auditorium and Acti-
vities Center for the fiscal year 1977-1978.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Ordinance No. 3241 is hereby amended to establish an
Auditorium-Activities Center fund, and to adopt and approve
the budget estimates of the revenues and expenses thereof
as submitted by the City Manager, and to make appropriations
for such expenses, to-wit:
(1) Revenues:
25-000-various accounts $165, 000. 00
(2) Expenditures:
25-050-various accounts $ 52,069. 00
The immediate need to operate the Memorial Auditorium-
Activities Center creates an emergency, and in order to pro-
tect the public health, welfare and to preserve the peace,
this ordinance shall take effect immediately, and it is
so ordained.
