AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF
TOWER DRIVE WITHIN STEED AND GARDNER ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close and abandon that portion
of a street hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
The east-west street adjacent to Lot 1, Block 1 of the Steed and
Gardner Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, more fully described as
follows:
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of said Lot 1, Block 1, Steed and
Gardner Addition;
THENCE S 00° 05' W 50.0 feet to a point;
THENCE N 89° 53' E 410.0 feet to a point;
THENCE N 00° 05' E 50.0 feet to a point;
THENCE S 89° 53' W 410.0 feet to the Place of Beginning and containing
0.47 acres of land ;
be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned.
