ORDINANCE NO. 14_
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF WISCONSIN
AVENUE WITHIN WESTMORELAND PARK ACREAGE SUBDIVISION TO THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close and abandon that portion
of a street hereafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That portion of Wisconsin Avenue lying within Westmoreland Park
Acreage Subdivision to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, more filly described as
follows:
Beginning at a point in the North line of Block 16, Denton County
School Lands, League 1, A-58, Wichita County, Texas, also being in
the North line of Block 108, Westmoreland Park Acreage, said point
bears South 890 18' West 241.20 feet from the Northeast corner of
said Block 16, to the place of beginning of this description;
Thence along the North line of the aforementioned Block 16, South 89°
18' West 191.40 feet;
Thence South 67° 49' West 297.90 feet to a point for the Northeast
corner of Columbia Road and Wisconsin Avenue, closed per Wichita
County Deed Records, Vol. 506, page 311;
Thence along the East right-of-way line of the above mentioned abandoned
Columbia Road, South 75.70 feet to a point for the Northwest corner of
the above mentioned Block 108;
Thence along the North line of said Block 108, North 67° 49' East
504.59 feet to the place of beginning and containing 0.67 acres, more
or less;
be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned.
