RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO TIMMINS-ANDERSON CORPORATION ON
THE CONCRETE PORTION OF THE 1978 STREET RECONSTRUCTION
PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Timmins-Anderson Corporation
entered into a contract dated November 7, 1978, wherein such contractor agreed
to construct the concrete portion of the 1978 Street Reconstruction Program, and,
WHEREAS, such project has been completed in accordance with the plans
and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, a final estimate has been submitted on this project, which
shows that the total amount due under this contract is $205,088.89, of which
193,478.19 has been paid to the contractor, leaving a balance due of $11,610.70.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of such project is hereby accepted by the City of
Wichita Falls, the final estimate is approved, and the City Manager is authorized
to pay to such contractor the balance due as set out above.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 21st day of December 1982.
