RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER
TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS PARKS AND
WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT FOR A GRANT FOR ACQUISITION
AND DEVELOPMENT OF PHASE II-A OF THE WICHITA RIVER
GREENBELT PROJECT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and submit to
the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, on behalf of the City of
Wichita Falls, an application for a grant for the acquisition and
development of Phase II-A of the Wichita River Greenbelt Project.
Such application shall be for a grant of $300,000 .00, to be matched
by the City of Wichita Falls . The City Manager shall furnish such
additional information as the Parks and Wildlife Department may
require in connection with such application.
In the event such application is approved, the City Manager is
authorized to execute grant agreements.
