RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACT FOR RENOVATION WORK
AT WICHITA FALLS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT TO JOHN J.
MILLER, D/B/A J. MILLER CONSTRUCTION CO.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls had advertised for bids
for the renovation of portions of the terminal building at
Municipal Airport; and,
WHEREAS, ten bids were received, and it is found that the
bid of John J. Miller, d/b/a J. Miller Construction Co. , including
Alternates No.s 1, 2 , 3, 4 , 6 , 7 , and 8 in the amount of $311,733 . 00
is the lowest responsible bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said bid of John J. Miller, d/b/a J. Miller Construction Co.
in the amount of $311, 733 .00 is hereby accepted, subject to the
approval of the Federal Aviation Administration, and the City
Manager is authorized to execute a contract with John J. Miller,
d/b/a J. Miller Construction Co. for the construction of said
improvements .
