RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND
ACQUIRED BY THE STATE OF TEXAS ON KELL BOULEVARD
IS NO LONGER NEEDED FOR HIGHWAY OR PUBLIC TRANSPOR-
TATION PURPOSES AND RECOMMENDING THAT THE STATE
SELL SUCH LAND.
WHEREAS , the State of Texas acquired the hereinafter described
tract of land on Kell Boulevard for highway purposes , and the State
Department of Highways and Public Transportation has recommended that
such land is surplus to the State' s needs , and that the same be sold.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
That certain tract of land, which is shown as Tract No. 12 and
described in Exhibit A which is attached hereto and incorporated herein,
is no longer needed for highway or public transportation purposes by
the citizens or City of Wichita Falls, and it is recommended that the
State sell such tract of land in accordance with the statutes of the
State of Texas.

Being all of Lot 31 and part of Lots 32 and 33 , Block 7 , Sibley-
Taylor Addition in the town of Wichita Falls , Wichita County ,
Texas , according to a map or plat of said Addition recorded in
Book 2 , Page 132 , or the Nap or Plat_ Records of Wichita County ;
and being the same property described in a deed from Southside
Assembly of God Church to the State of Texas dated August 14 ,
1969 , recorded in Volume 1056 , Page 502 , Deed Records of Wichita
County , Texas , containing an area of 19 , 376 . 5 square feet of
land , more or less , and being more particularly described as
follows :
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of Lot 31 ;
THENCE Northerly alone, the West line of Lots 31 , 32 , and 33 a
distance of 150. 0 feet to a point for corner ;
THENCE Easterly along; the North line of Lot 33 a distance of
91 . 0 feet to a point for corner ;
THENCE Southeasterly along the curving Westerly ROW line of
U. S . 287-277 a distance of 83 . 9 feet to a point for
corner ;
THENCE Southerly along the East line of Lots 32 and 31 a
distance of 82 . 0 feet to a point for corner , said point
also being in the West ROW line of Broad Street ; said
point also being the Southeast corner of Lot 31 ;
THENCE Westerly along the South line of Lot 31 a distance of
160. 0 feet to the place of beginning , and containing an
area of 19 , 376 . 5 square feet of land , more or less .
