RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND
ACQUIRED BY THE STATE OF TEXAS ON U.S. 82-277 IS
NO LONGER NEEDED FOR HIGHWAY OR PUBLIC TRANSPOR-
TATION PURPOSES AND RECOMMENDING THAT THE STATE
SELL SUCH LAND.
WHEREAS , the State of Texas acquired the hereinafter described
tract of land on U.S. 82-277 for highway purposes, and the State
Department of Highways and Public Transportation has recommended that
such land is surplus to the State ' s needs, and that the same be sold.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That certain tract of land, which is shown as Tract No. 11 and
described in Exhibit A which is attached hereto and incorporated herein,
is no longer needed for highway or public transportation purposes by
the citizens or City of Wichita Falls, and it is recommended that the
State sell such tract of land in accordance with the statutes of the
State of Texas.

Being a part of Lots 25 and 26 and ail of Lots 27 , 23 , 29 , and 30
in Block 7 , Sibley-Taylor. Addition in the town of Wichita Falls ,
Wichita County , Texas , according to a map or plat of said
Addition recorded in Book 2 , Page 132 , of the Hap or Plat Records
of Wichita County , and being the same property described in a
deed from Southside Assembly of God Church to the State of Texas
dated August 1 + , 1969 , recorded in Volume 1066 , Page 502 , Deed
Records of Wichita County , Texas , containing an area of 33 , 059 . 7
square feet of land , more or less and being more particularly
described as follows :
BEGINNING at a point in the East line of Lot 25 , said beginning
point being 10 . 0 feet North of the Southeast corner of
Lot 25 ;
THENCE Northwesterly a distance of 49 . 1 feet to a point for
angle , said point being on the North line of Lot 25 and
2.8. 5 feet West of the Northeast corner of Lot 25 ;
THENCE Northwesterly a distance of 120. 2 feet to a point for
angle , said point being in the West line of Lot 26 and.
5 . 0 feet South of the Northwest corner of Lot 26 ;
THENCE Northerly along the West line of Lots 26 , 27 , 28 , 29 ,
and 30 a distance of 205 . 0 feet to a point for corner ,
said point being the Northwest corner of Lot 30 ;
THENCE Easterly along the North line of Lot 30 , a distance of
140 . 0 feet to a point for corner ;
THENCE Southerly along the East line of Lots 30 , 29 , 23 , 27 ,
26 , and 25 a distance of 290. 0 feet to the place of
beginning, and containing an area of 33 , 059 . 7 square
