RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND
ACQUIRED BY THE STATE OF TEXAS ON KELL BOULEVARD
IS NO LONGER NEEDED FOR HIGHWAY OR PUBLIC TRANSPOR-
TATION PURPOSES AND RECOMMENDING THAT THE STATE
SELL SUCH LAND.
WHEREAS, the State of Texas acquired the hereinafter described
tract of land on Kell Boulevard for highway purposes, and the State
Department of Highways and Public Transportation has recommended that
such land is surplus to the State' s needs, and that the same be sold.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That certain tract of land, which is shown as Tract No. 5 and
described in Exhibit A which is attached hereto and incorporated herein,
is no longer needed for highway or public transportation purposes by
the citizens or City of Wichita Falls, and it is recommended that the
State sell such tract of land in accordance with the statutes of the
State of Texas.

Tract No 5
Being a part of Lots 5 and 6 in Block 5 , Sibley-Taylor Addition,
in the town of Wichita Falls , Wichita County , Texas , according to
a map or plat of said Addition recorded in Book 2 , Page 132, of
the Map or Plat Records of Wichita County ; and being the same
property described in a Judgment from J . T. Wood , et ux to State
of Texas and the City of Wichita Falls , dated November 25 , 1970 ,
recorded in Volume 1093 , Page 200 and in a Quitclaim Deed from
the City of Wichita Falls to the State of Texas dated December
10 , 1971 , recorded in Volume 1110 , Page 321 , Deed Records of
Wichita County , Texas , containing an area of 9 , 085 . 8 square feet
of land , more or less . Being more particularly described as
follows :
BEGINNING At the northwest corner of said Lot 5 ;
THENCE: East along the north line of said Lot 5 a distance of
132. 40 feet to the northeast corner of said Lot 5 and
continuing east a distance of 6 . 00 feet for a total
distance of 138 . 40 feet to the center of an abandoned
12 foot alley , said 12 foot alley closed by Ordiance
No . dated September , 1982, said point
being the northeast corner of the tract of land herein
conveyed ;
THENCE: South along the center of said abandoned alley a
distance of 48 . 85 feet to a point for corner, said
point being in the north line of Kell Boulevard and in
a curve to the right whose radius is 420 . 0 feet, the
bearing of the tangent at this point being S 70° 03'
THENCE : Southwesterly along the arc of said curve , also being
the north line of Kell Boulevard , a distance of 134. 78
feet to a point for corner , the bearing of the tangent
at this point being S 88° 27 ' W ;
THENCE: N 45 ° 00 ' W along the north line of existing Kell
Boulevard , a distance of 11 . 30 feet to a point for
corner , said point being in the East line of existing
Holliday Road ;
THENCE : N 01 ° 15 ' E along the east line of existing Holliday
Road , a distance of 65 . 91 feet to the place of beginning
and containing 9 , 085 . 8 square feet of land , more or
