RESOLUTION DECLARINC THAT A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND
ACQUIRED BY THE STATE OF TEXAS ON KELL BOULEVARD
IS NO LONGER NEEDED FOR HIGHWAY OR PUBLIC TRANSPOR-
TATION PURPOSES AND RECOMMENDING THPT THE STATE
SELL SUCH LAND.
WHEREAS, the State of Texas acquired the hereinafter described
tract of land on Kell Boulevard for highway purposes, and the State
Department of Highways and Public Transportation has recommended that
such land is surplus to the State' s needs, and that the same be sold.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That certain tract of land, which is shown as Tract No. 2 and
described in Exhibit A which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein, is no longer needed for highway or public transportation purposes
by the citizens or City of Wichita Falls, and it is recommended that
the State sell such tract of land in accordance with the statutes
of the State of Texas.

TRACT NO. 2
Being a part of Lots 14 and 15 in Block B , Wyatt Southside
Addition in the town of Wichita Falls , Wichita County , Texas ,
according to a map or plat of said Addition recorded in Book 4 ,
Page 52 , of the Map or Plat Records of Wichita County ; and being
the same property described in a deed from James V. McGregor, et
iix to the State of Texas dated December 22 , 1969 , recorded in
Volume 1072 , Page 458 , Deed Records of Wichita County , Texas , con-
taining an area of 3 , 429 square feet of land , more or less , and
being more particularly described as follows :

point being 75 . 0 feet from the Southwest corner of Lot
14 ;
THENCE Northerly along the West line of Lot 14 , a distance of
75. 0 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 14 ;
THENCE Easterly along the North line of Lots 14 and 15 a
distance of 71 . 0 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 15 ;
THENCE Southerly along the East line of Lot 15 a distance of
37 . 5 feet to a point for corner ;
THENCE Southwesterly a distance of 51 . 1 feet to a point in the
East line of Lot 14 , said point also being 102. 0 feet
from the Southeast corner of Lot 14 ;
THENCE Southwesterly a distance of 341 . 2 feet to the place of
beginning , and containing an area of 3 , 429 square feet
