RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION OF IRRIGATION
SYSTEMS IN BELAIR PARK AND WOOD MEMORIAL PARK
BY HOLT NURSERY AND LANDSCAPE.
WHEREAS , the City of Wichita Falls and Holt Nursery and
Landscape, as Contractor, entered into a contract dated October
1, 1981, wherein said contractor agreed to construct irrigation
systems in Belair Park and Wood Memorial Park; and,
WHEREAS , said construction has been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS , the total contract price for such project is $23 ,607. 23 ,
of which $22 ,426 . 88 has been paid to the Contractor, leaving a
balance of $1 , 180. 35.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
The construction of the irrigation systems in Belair Park and
Wood Memorial Park is hereby accepted by the City of Wichita Falls ,
and the City Manager is directed to pay to the Contractor the amount
due of $1 , 180. 35.
