RESOLUTION ACCEPTING RESURFACING OF FOUR TENNIS
COURTS AT WEEKS PARK TENNIS CENTER.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Zack Burkett Company,
as Contractor, entered into a contract dated August 17 , 1982 ,
wherein said Contractor agreed to remove existing peeling and
loose color coat and resurfacing of the four south tennis courts
at Weeks Park Tennis Center; and,
WHEREAS , said construction has been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, the final estimate has been submitted on this project,
which final estimate shows a total amount of work done as $13,393 . 02 ,
none of which has been paid to the contractor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of such project is accepted by the City of
Wichita Falls, and the City Manager is directed to pay to the said
Contractor the sum of $13 ,393. 02.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 2nd day of November, 1982 .
