RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION OF RESTROOM/STORAGE
BUILDING AT WOOD MEMORIAL PARK BY J. MILLER CONSTRUC-
TION COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichtia Falls and J. Miller Construction
Company, as Contractor, entered into a contract dated November 12 ,
1981, whereby the Contractor agreed to construct a restroom/storage
facility at Wood Memorial Park; and,
WHEREAS, such construction has been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, the contract price for such construction is $23 ,904 . 00 ,
of which $17 , 996. 40 has been paid to the Contractor, leaving a
balance due of $5 , 907. 60.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT :
The construction of such facility at Wood Memorial Park is
hereby accepted, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to pay
to the Contractor the amount due as set out above.
