RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE HEYDRICK
BUILDING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AS AN ELIGIBLE PROJECT
WITHIN THE CITY'S DESIGNATED BLIGHTED AREA.
WHEREAS, the proposed Heydrick Building Improvement Project will
contribute significantly to redevelopment objectives in the City's blighted area,
as defined by the Wichita Falls Board of Aldermen, and is in furtherance of
public purposes, as defined by the Development Corporation Act of 1979, as
amended; and,
WHEREAS. such project will contribute to the economic growth of Wichita
Falls by increasing employment opportunities, increasing the tax base and
Promoting commerce within the City; and,
WHEREAS, such project is an acceptable project of the commercial type.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City of Wichita Falls approves the Heydrick Building Improvement
Project as an acceptable commercial project within the City's designated blighted
area.
