RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO GRANT
AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO. 6-48-0227-08 WITH THE
FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION, TO ADD THE
INSTALLATION OF ENERGY CONSERVATION FEATURES FOR
PUBLIC USE AREAS OF THE TERMINAL BUILDING AT
MUNICIPAL AIRPORT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Amendment No. 1, a copy of which is attached hereto, to Grant
Agreement for project No. 6-48-0227-08 with the Federal Aviation
Administration, to add the installation of energy conservation features
for public use areas of the terminal building at Municipal Airport,
is hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorized to execute the
same for the City of Wichita Falls.

AMENDMENT NO. l TO GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO.6-4$0227-08
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as the "FAA") has deter-
mined it to be in the interest of the United States that the Grant Agreement between the FAA, acting
for and on behalf of the United States, and the City of Wichita Falls. Texas
hereinafter referred to as the "Sponsor"), accepted by said Sponsor on the 25th day of
September , 19 80, be amended as hereinafter provided.
NOW THEREFORE, WITNESSETH:
That in consideration of the benefits to accrue to the parties hereto, the FAA on behalf of the
United States, on the one part, and the Sponsor, on the other part, do hereby mutually agree that :
1. The description of the development included in the project, as set forth in the
second paragraph on Page 1 of the Grant Agreement, 'is hereby amended to read:
Expand existing general aviation taxiway and apron area; Reconstruct and
widen portion of access road; Reconstruct and overlay Runway 17-35 (7000'
X 150' ); Marking incidental to construction; Install energy conservation
features for public use areas of terminal building."
2. The last line of the first paragraph on Page 2 of the Grant Agreement (which
sets forth the Federal participation rate) is hereby amended to read:
Project, fifty percentum of the allowable costs for the item "Install
energy conservation features for public use areas of terminal building",
and ninety percentum of all other allowable project costs."
