RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO GRANT
AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO. 6-48-0227-06 WITH THE
FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION TO ADD THE CON-
STRUCTION OF ENCLOSED COVERED PASSENGER BOARDING
WALKWAYS AT MUNICIPAL AIRPORT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WIChITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Amendment No. 1, a copy of which is attached hereto, to Grant
Agreement for project No. 6-48-0227-06, with the Federal Aviation
Administration, which adds to such agreement the construction of en-
closed covered passenger boarding walkways at Municipal Airport, is
hereby approved , and the City Manager is authorized to execute the
same for the City of Wichita Falls.

AMENDMENT NO.1 TO GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO.6-48-0227-06
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as the "FAA") has deter-
mined it to be in the interest of the United States that the Grant Agreement between the FAA, acting
for and on behalf of the United States, and the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
hereinafter referred to as the "Sponsor"), accepted by said Sponsor on the 25th day of June
19, 80, be amended as hereinafter provided.
NOW THEREFORE,WITNESSETH:
That in consideration of the benefits to accrue to the parties hereto, the FAA on behalf of the
United States, on the one part, and the Sponsor, on the other part, do hereby mutually agree that
1. The description of the development included in the project, as set forth in the
second paragraph on Page 1 of the Grant Agreement, is hereby amended to read:
Rehabilitate portion of terminal apron (approx. 2000 S.Y.); Install
controlled access gates; Enclose covered passenger boarding walkways."
2. The last line of the first paragraph on Page 2 of the Grant Agreement (which
sets forth the Federal participation rate) is hereby amended to read:
Project, fifty percentum of the allowable costs for the item "Enclose
covered passenger boarding walkways", and ninety percentum of all other
allowable project costs."
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Amendment to said Grant Agreement
