RESOLUTION APPROVING TAX ADJUSTMENTS #81-1
THROUGH #81-348 .
WHEREAS, the Tax Department has accounts, totaling a net
loss of $8 ,432. 88, that need to be adjusted for the following
reasons: added on to roll, late senior citizens' exemptions,
late veterans ' exemptions, reduction of appraisal, property not
in jurisdiction, double assessments, computer entry errors,
problems in computing, City owned property deleted from rolls,
school owned property deleted from rolls, Soldier ' s/Sailor' s
Relief Act exemption, and religious property exemption; and,
WHEREAS, a copy of each adjustment with an explanation is
on file in the Accounting and Finance Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such tax adjustments, #81-1 through #81-348 , are hereby
approved.
