RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT 2 TO INTERGOVERN-
MENTAL PERSONNEL ACT CONTRACT WITH THE TEXAS
DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS .
WHEREAS , heretofore the City of Wichita Falls entered into a
contract with the Texas Department of Community Affairs for the
development of an entry level firefighter selection process, and
it is in the best interests of the City to extend the contract dead-
line from February 28 , 1982 to March 31, 1982 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such Amendment 2 is approved, and the City Manager is author-
ized to execute such amendment with the Texas Department of Community
Affairs extending such contract deadline to March 31, 1982 .
